Sometimes the parts you're making in your vertical machining center are simply too big to be held with our One-Lok or Qwik-Loks - but you can still use a custom-made Chick Foundation to get the job done.
- Mount our Foundation Blox directly to the Foundation, and hold your part with a swing clamp.
- Foundation Blox are made from the same machinable, high tensile strength, aircraft-grade aluminum as our jaws and faceplates
- Accurate locating bolts provide your fixturing with maximum accuracy and repeatability

Finding the right Chick product for your needs is simple because our product numbers tell you exactly what width and length you're getting. Take a look:
The first two digits of our product number reflect the width of the jaw set. The second two digits reflect the length.
So if you need a workholding product that is
- 100mm (or about 4“) wide and
- 400mm (or about 15 3/4“) long, then the product you want is a 1040.
